Ft. Verde is one of the Arizona forts that housed army members in the 1800's. The grounds have the original housing for the doctors, the enlisted men, married couples, etc. It is very well kept and a great way to learn more about how the American Southwest came to be as it is today! Located in the picturesque to of Camp Verde and great way to spend the day!
