Walnut City Lanes is the only bowling alley in town and is right down the street from our BnB. It has been around for YEARS. I have no idea how many, but this business has been in the same family since at least 1977. The owners are friendly and even if you don't bowl, the beer and food is pretty good. It is just a family fun place. Yelp review: "If you're looking for your Big Lebowski event of the month, head on over to Walnut City Lanes. It's a fantastic place to bowl. Whether you're a seasoned bowler or you only bowl when your friends and family force it upon you, you'll have fun here. It's smoke-free (as are all such establishments in Oregon) so you don't have to worry about your kiddos inhaling that second-hand mess you inhaled when bowling as a child. There's a restaurant and lounge attached so you can grab a beer or a bite to eat during your "sporting event." Regular bowling is pretty affordable, but cosmic bowling can cause a dent in your pocket book (though it's INCREDIBLY fun). Stop in for a game or two. It's bound to be a fun time."
