You must visit this museum! It consists of a large court, a small castle, a chapel, a watchtower and a winter garden. In 1910, a spacious dance hall was added. In his castle there is a park with a large number of Mediterranean vegetation (among other things, cork wood). This summer residence of King Nikola is located in the park and near the seashore. The palace of king Nikolaj I of Montenegro was built in the 1880's. It was built for the first king of newly independent Montenegro, just free from the Ottomans. The palace complex of Nikola I Petrović in Bar with the associated buildings: the Big and Small Castle, watchtowers, the palace chapel and the winter garden is located right near the seashore, in Topolica.
The palace was built in 1885 on the seashore and was given as a present from King Nikola to his daughter, Princess Zorka and her husband, Prince Petar Karađorđević.
