It is a beautiful story about British governor's love life with a local dancer. The tunnel and underground bedroom they used to secretly meet is still intact. The story is depicted by beautiful paintings on the wall. Worth watching. All this is free, no entrance fee. This place also owns a picturesque private beach which is bonus. Private beaches are very rare in the world!

Heritage Hotel, try the High Tea on the terrace with amazing Colombo skyline view
Go for Sunday lunch. You won't get much better Sri Lankan food. They also run regular themed meals and events. Check their social media. A great iconic colonial location where back in pre independence days, ministers would meet regularly. Spectacular views across the coastline and into Colombo.
