Big sandy beach makes this a favorite for sea turtles to lay their eggs. This park is only open on weekends and cruise ship days, but will also be closed during turtle season. There are no services out there so make sure you bring everything you need.

Best beach on St. Croix! Closed part of the year for sea turtle nesting season, but you can sign up for a turtle-watch with the Fish & Wildlife Service or St. Croix Environmental Association!

Sandy Point is a beautiful beach and nature preserve on the South-West side of the Island. It is absolutely gorgeous and it is extremely popular. There is no shade on this beach. The beach is closed from April 1 to September 1 so that turtles can nest and it is only open on Weekends and Cruise ship days September - March.

So much natural beauty. This protected refuge has been a sea turtle nesting spot for generations and the National Park Service offers seasonal baby turtle hatching guided tours.
