A really cute activity that takes you up and back along part of Brighton seafront
The Volks Railway is the country's oldest operating electric railway so climb aboard for a ride along the seafront. This is not a high tech attraction but it is fun waving at everyone and being waved at!
If you don't fancy the walk to or from town then take the train! The quirky little Volks electric railway is the oldest electric railway in the world still operating, and fun for young or old. Trains run from the pier to Black Rock station near the Marina. Tickets are £5 return for adults, £3 for children, dogs are allowed for free.
Fun electric train ride along beach from Pier to Marina. If you stop at half way point the beach is quieter and you can get good toasties and play mini golf at the Beach Shack, or volleyball at Yellow Wave Beach Cafe. If you go all way to Marina there are lots of restaurants and boats.
