Excellent food, great ambience in a traditional old coaching inn. Spotlessly clean with inside and outside eating space. This place is near to Keilder and would be ideal to have a meal at the end of a day out in the national park or if you are visiting the observatory.

“Had my birthday evening meal here. Wonderful food, served by friendly staff. Good beer, too. The pub itself is delightfully traditional in its décor and represents the perfect English pub set in the heart of the national park. Highly recommended!”
