The amphitheater at Siena's Fortezza Medicea hosts open-air cinema in summer. It's wonderfully romantic and the films are often great classics. Just take warm clothes - even in mid-summer it's chilly up there.

The Medici Fortress is perfect for relaxing, walking, jogging and enjoying a nice view of the city.

During summertime, enjoy a a drink in the bar at the top of the fortress. Lots of events and cinema screenings take place from the end of June till the end of August.
