At the end of the road on the north end of the island. Beautiful views with a trail down to the beach. Steep and can be slippery after rains. Another hike is to the Captain Cook Monument. Strenuous. Go early. Take water. Good snorkeling but difficult to get in and out because of urchins.

Great camping within a calm valley near the shore. Moderate hike into The Valley limits campers so the area is fairly private.

Pololu Valley is a great day trip for people who enjoy hiking. It is not a difficult hike and offers fantastic views with the opportunity to take a nice dip in the ocean upon arrival. Photo opportunities abound in this beautiful valley.

Breathtaking views! When you get to the bottom it has a black sands beach! Make sure to bring water! It is NOT an easy hike
