This is a nice old park, a 10 minute walk away, with tons of lilac trees (if you happen to be here in late May/early June try to get there early, it's a scent treat!) with a paddling pool for kiddies and a playground. Head for 6th street, cross Lorne and follow 6th to the corner of the park (you'll see a Lawn Bowling club on the corner).
