My fave hikes- The lakes (Eva/Miller/Jade) in Mount Revelstoke National Park. The park is excellent because you drive the meadows in the sky parkway all the way to the subalpine, making the hikes more cross country vs. straight vertical. If you’re not up for the full day hiking the lakes there are plenty of shorter view loops to do at the summit. Info can be found easily with a google search.

Take a cool stroll through a lush rainforest on a hot summer day. Stand at the point of no return, where champions once launched themselves down a world-famous ski jump. Climb the only mountain in the national park system that you can summit just a short walk from your car – all at Mount Revelstoke National Park. Our favourite hike is Eva and Jade Lakes. A stunning hike through mountain meadows, along rugged ridge lines and deep valley floors. Hours of Operation: Open 9 am to 5 pm in the fall, summer and spring May 18th to October 15th. Directions: Drive back to Highway 1 (TransCanada) and turn right once you pass the Tim Horton’s, drive for 2 minutes on Highway 1 - the access road will be on the right with signage.

Good mixture of short, medium, and long hikes. Open during summer. Drive up is about 27km so plan for travel time. Worth the drive for the 360 degree view at top.
