The Mercantour National Park is a heaven for nature lovers. You can hike the 1700 km of trails, stroll through the meadows and enjoy the incredibly rich flora and fauna of the region. If you are more adventurous, you can go rafting and even conquer one of the many peaks in the park. The highest one is 3,000 meters! The journey to the park is an adventure in itself: the road to Mercantour will take you through dramatic mountains, isolated hilltops, pretty villages, river valleys, and steep cliffs.
