The Venetian castle of Faneromeni, situated by the village of Kochylou in Korthi region was built between 1207 and 1233 and features the church of Panagia Faneromeni. The castle is a must-visit, if you can handle the 143 steps to get there. Breathtaking views of Korthi and the Aegean Sea.
