Great for babies and younger kids. Can be windy and good for kite boarding or wind surfing. An ok place to snorkel. Reef isn’t that healthy but there can be A LOT of turtles.
Anini Beach is a beach located on the north shore of Kauai, Hawaii. It is well known for its excellent windsurfing and views of the large coral reef that rings the island. Nearby waters range between four and 100 feet in depth, and the beach is known for strong currents.
Tranquil and unspoiled, with calm waters for easy swimming. No services, so hike down from the resort (10 minutes) with towels, water, food and beach gear.
Anini boasts the longest and widest fringing reef in the Hawaiian Islands and because of the unique conditions it usually has well protected waters and some of the most consistent conditions for water activities.
