The valley where the first sons of Bachue settled was called the Valley of Saquencipa. Valley where rituals were developed and temples and astronomical observatories were established, whose vestiges were found by the Spanish in the conquest, being the object of destruction and demonization to achieve their conversion to the new religion. A few years ago, the archaeologist Silva Celis, from the Pedagogical and Technological University of Tunja, began excavations that would reveal an entire complex of archaeological remains that today are exhibited to visitors.

El valle donde se asentaron los primeros hijos de Bachue se llamó el Valle de Saquencipa, en donde se desarrollaron rituales y se establecieron templos y observatorios astronómicos. Hoy en día este complejo de vestigios arqueológicos se exhiben a los visitantes.
