When most Texans think of Wimberley, they probably think of Blue Hole. However, there is another Wimberley swimming hole you should try. The Cypress Falls Swimming Hole derives its name from the dam's falls in the creek, which creates the swimming hole. The creek is spring-fed by Jacob's Well, so the water is crisp and cool all year round. The swimming hole is home to "Eagle Rock," a natural rock formation that creates a cave alongside the creek. The falls are an awesome location for swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, and tubing. (You can rent canoes, kayaks, tubes, and paddleboards onsite) Or practice your inner Tarzan and jump off the rope swing into the water. The adjacent Back Porch Cafe serves light fare as well as beer and wine. We are less than five minutes away from Cypress Falls, so definitely a place to check out.

Beautiful swimming hole in the heart of Wimberley Texas. Open every day of the week, Cypress Falls is the perfect place to spend a hot summer afternoon. Canoes, kayaks, paddle boards, and tubes are all available for rent. Beer and wine are also available for purchase.
This is a little spot in Wimberley that offers public access to the creek for a fee. It is a good spot to enjoy the spring water.
The greatest plan ever bring the whole family. Swim and tell you all tuckered out and grab a bite to eat. Safe and fun for the whole family!
