After living in the area for over ten years, I finally visited the zoo and wondered why I hadn't been before. There's a great selection of animals to see and chance to go up high in the castle too.
Much improved zoo with friendly new residents (lemurs) and a wide range of exotic animals: something for everyone. At the top of the hill sits the castle where you can sit and picnic or watch a show. The ride on train will take you all the way to the top if you're feeling weary! Two cafes and a large gift shop. Great views across Dudley and the Black Country.
