Driving over the Saddle Road to or from Kona? This rest stop has an excellent playground. There’s also restrooms, picnic tables, a paved walking trail with exercise stations, and a short nature walk. There’s no food along the Saddle, so pick up your picnic before you hit the road.

A great place to take a restroom stop on your trip to or from the West Side of the Island. A nice place to picnic. Great Children's Play Station area. Now renamed the "Gilbert Kahele Recreation Area Park".
