Visit St. Madoc’s Church before descending the hill, past Cwm Ivy cafe , through the gate and onto National trust land towards the coast line. The path splits, offering two great coastal walks: Whiteford burrows, ( through woods and sand burrows) or Broughton (partial woodland walk).

A favourite weekend walk of ours is a trip down to Whiteford beach or woods and a pit stop at Cwm Ivy cafe for a coffee and cake. We love it down there as you’ve got the choice of walking in the woods, sand dunes or on the beach. There’s a lovely long walk out to Whiteford light house if you’re feeling active, or some shorter walks for a nice refreshing stroll.
