Lepeda beach boasts a natural shallow pool area that’s perfect for kids to play in, the sand is soft and has an unusual red colour, the water is crystal clear and great for snorkelling.here’s a taverna in the middle of the beach where you can sit and enjoy a couple of drinks or a nice meal, around the taverna is where you’ll find a handful of sun loungers to hire. There’s often a volleyball net up as well for the more energetic of you but no water sports. The beach is characterized by its red sand while impressive rocks in bizarre shapes add to this unique landscape. It offers exquisite views to the gulf of Argostoli, the Saint Theodori lighthouse and Mount Aenos.

Lepeda beach Partly-Organized, Sandy, Family Friendly Location: 33 km west of Argostoli and 2 km south of Lixouri Description: Lepeda is a sandy beach close to Lixouri, the second largest village of Kefalonia. The landscape includes the rocky surroundings of the beach, which are a real treat.
