Originally 50 metres tall, the parachute tower was built in 1937 for the training of parachute jumpers.
The Kosciuszko Park, which has existed since 1925, is one of the most famous and frequented parks in Katowice, Poland. It is situated at the street of the same name.
Great city park, nice for walks, relax on a bench, plenty of playgrounds for kids. Great restaurant with polish cuisine - Patio Park is actually in it.
Nice place for a walk, you can see there parachute platform which was defended by scouts while Warld War II. There is also a very old church from XIV century
