There is a great swimming hole here. You can also rent canoes and kayaks, hike, and cookout in the picnic shelters.

To call the Eno a "river" is almost misleading - it's an overgrown stream but deep enough to canoe in the summer months. And West Point on the Eno has well worn trails that are great for hiking - good kid activity and great exercise.
