Restored 16th-century castle and gardens with Clan Brodie collection of antiques, art and ceramics. Impressive, atmospheric, beautiful and has a good restaurant and gift shop on the main road

National Trust property. Highly recommend a guided tour, v interesting. Gardens are beautiful, especially in the Spring with all the daffodils out! A cafe and playful garden for the children, dog friendly outside.

About a 30 minute drive, just west of Forres, a lovely castle with play park and lake walk, it’s free apart from parking. Also there is an entrance free to look around inside the castle.
