This is the perfect place to while away an afternoon with a picnic, swimming, sunbathing, reading in the shade, or playing lawn games. Big grassy areas and a sandy beach. Water here is shallower and generally a little warmer than other bay beaches but the sand bottom is softer. Restrooms. Easy to bike here! On most summer Tuesdays, there’s a 7am yoga class here, by donation. Check Sarah Townsend Yoga on FB to verify.

East Bay Park with a shallow water beach, playground, picnic facilities, and restrooms is a great place for families to spend the day with less crowds than some of the other public beaches.
