10 minute drive from Ravenglass is Holmrook station - ideal for getting the essentials in a rush. For supermarkets for the large shops, if you are coming from Carlisle way, I'd suggest dropping into a supermarket in Whitehaven. If you're coming from Barrow way I'd suggest popping into Ulverston for a quick shop
