A preserve dedicated to tigers! Educational and fun for everyone. Growler Pines is dedicated to enhancing the lives of retired circus tigers and others who have been entrusted in to their care. Reservations are required and tour sizes are limited. We went on their maiden tour in June. It was hot! The show and exhibit are under a shady pavilion with a small stadium type seating. You can tell these stewards are dedicated to the love and care of their tigers. One tiger in particular was absolutely in love with her human. You can see one of Zara's pieces of "art" in the cottage. Right now they are in their beginning phases. They have big plans for their facility. And as donations and tours increase, we'll see some really cool changes, like the big pool they want to build. Tigers love to get in water! A must visit stop.
