Around the hustle and bustle of the Ximending., there is one secluded spot named Nishi Honganji Square. It was the largest Japanese Buddhist temple in Taiwan during the 1895-1945 colonial period and it is Rinbansyo Tea House that aims to promote Taiwanese tea and tea culture there. The tea house was originally founded to commemorate her deceased father as the smell of the tea reminds her of the good old days. In Rinbansyo Tea House, people can not only taste the tea, but learn tea arts. It can also be a cosy place for spending your afternoon with some desserts.
