Visit the wall of the Dam and also have a coffee. Make the round trip and carry on to Texas and then back to the cottage - approximately 1 hour to Texas and 30 minutes back to the cottage. Some dirt but suitable all vehicles

Great fishing. Try catching a cod or yellow belly. Glenlyon Dam, on the QLD border, is regularly stocked with Golden Perch, Murray Cod and Silver Perch, Glenlyon Dam also yields spangled Perch and Eel-tailed Catfish. The dam is known for its big Murray Cod, which can be seen spawning in late winter and early spring.
