The Georgetown-Williamson County Veterans Memorial honors all veterans who have served in our military services. The memorial plaza is lined with 2500 engraved bricks; two walls: the 16-foot Williamson County Memorial Wall and a second, 82-foot limestone Memorial Wall; and nine granite plates engraved with the names of Williamson County residents who had given their lives in either World War I, World War II, the Korean War, Vietnam War and the Wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. Memorial Day and Veterans Day Services are held every year which are open to the public.
