La Tortuga has a great food spot, which is surprisingly for Ayampe, directly on the beach (or in the grassy area, just 5 ft. from the beach). It’s got a great vibe, nice rustic chic decor, and it’s all open air, allowing you to enjoy the fresh sea breeze with ocean views. We recommend the fried fish sandwich, the bolon, & the empanadas.
