A gay club today but in the 1970s this building was the birth place of Berlin's modern club culture when trans* woman Romy Haag opened her famous "Chez Romy Haag" here in West Berlin's sex work district. The club attracted world-famous celebrities like the Rolling Stones, Tina Turner, Freddie Mercury, and David Bowie who had a short relationship with Romy Haag.
