You can catch a bus (Arriva No.45) from Haymarket to Brunswick Village (20-30 mins depending on traffic) to Big Waters Nature Reserve, where there is a lake and trails. From Big Waters you can access the Network of walking/running/cycling paths in North Tyneside, heading North/West into the countryside our East to the coast.
