The site of a dismantled fountain is now a 20,000-square-foot skate park with metal ramps, rails, and low, concrete steps. In homage to the Southern California skate scene of the 70s, a group of Cuban skaters cleaned it up and now maintain it. It’s best later in the day. There’s not much shade here, and the park can get very hot around noon. The action really picks up once school lets out.
