My favorite family-run local nursery also has a number of farm animals (sheep, llamas, etc.)) for youngins to pet and feed. A quick trip for little ones who are easy to impress. If you’re here in fall, check out their website for special hayride-type events.

Yes, this is a nursery but Th-Su they have a 'garden shack' that serves some great adult beverages and the best Italian ice! they have lots of seating around the nursery to enjoy a beverage and occasionally live music. We like to go here almost every Sunday with the kids for some nice down time and a treat.
