Great sportsbar with great food and drink. A popuar spot, there are ALWAYS cars in the parking lot!

Bourbon Room is only 1.5 miles down the road. On Ox Lake, they have a deck out back for outdoor dining. Their menu includes midwestern favorites like tater tot hotdish. They have music on occasion.

Atmosphere: Restaurant by day, bar by night Location: Ox Lake (5 minute drive) 38136 Co Hwy 66, Crosslake, MN 56442 Known for: Live music on summer weekends Dish to try: avocado turkey grilled cheese, blue guac burger Fun fact: When it was called the Ox Lake Tavern, it used to be a “set up” bar, where patrons would store their own alcohol on premise and staff would mix cocktails for patrons using those supplies. When it changed hands in 2013, it was one of the last of its kind! When to go: This is a great lunch spot, otherwise great for the first drink of the night...
