Jemma’s is worth the drive up the scenic East Coast. You’ll pass through quaint towns like Goodwood, Glamorgan and Roxborough. The food is truly local like breadfruit pie and the restaurant is in the seafront.
A great place to stop for a local lunch on a roadtrip to Speyside. Gemma is accustomed to foreigners so the food is not too spicy.
This is a great spot for local food. Do yourself a favor and stay awhile in Speyside to enjoy the Atlantic side of Tobago.
This is an excellent choice, why I save it for the last, its truly one of the best restaurant's but the service isn't exceptional and it can be a bit slow. I ate out of all the restaurants here the most. And if have patience and want true authentic Tobago dishes then this is the place to be.
A “must stop” for all tour groups that pass Speyside. You select your main (fish, chicken, shrimp, lobster etc) and they come along with a set of standard side dishes – if you’re lucky, one will be their signature breadfruit pie. It’s a good lunch stop if you are driving the Windward Road to Charlotteville – but try to avoid if a cruise ship is in port. 660-4066
