Walk round the reservoir and see the beautiful moorland scenery. This is just less than 4 miles and completely flat so suitable for push chairs and wheelchairs. The Burrator Inn is close by for refreshments and there is usually an ice cream van parked up too.

Lovely place to go for a picnic, bike ride or just a walk. A pretty drive there too. Ice cream vans that also serve coffee are normally about.

Just 5 minutes drive or half an hour on foot across the Moors. By car turn right on the road to Meavy then left signed Burrator. Ice cream van regularly found by the reservoir. Dozens of spots to walk and picnic.

A local landmark & good starting place from which to explore Dartmoor. You can walk to Sheepstor, Crazywell pool or Dittsworthy Warren, (where Warhorse was filmed.)
