According to an inscription found next to the eastern town gate of Emona, on the site of the present Trg francoske revolucije square, the Roman town walls were built between 14 and 15 AD.

Roman Wall is an actuall wall from the times when Ljubljana was known as Emona. Its a place where people go relaxing in the sun and practicing their climbing.
