A nice small black sand beach and ocean park. Best snorkeling in Hilo. Sometimes surfing/boogie boarding. Facilities, lifeguards.

Black sand beach within walking distance. Be sure to check out the green olivine in the sand while there. great snorkel spot with fish, turtles and coral

A small beautiful black sand beach that’s perfect for snorkeling.

This is a beautiful black sand beach, that you can drive up too. It's great for snorkeling, with sapphire blue waters and reef fish that will leave you smiling underwater when you see them. Turtles also swim here, and lifeguards are there to help you! Highly recommend this place for swimming!
