Mexican bakery. Not very fancy but at the corner so you can walk. Actually its easier to walk the parking lot is always full. Really Really good Barbeque chicken with bacon sandwich!

Local, Echo Park scene without the crowds. :) Strong coffee plus breakfast sandwiches, cake and pastries made daily! :)

My go-to neighborhood breakfast/lunch/pastry binge spot. Cheap, casual, friendly, clean. I get the desayuno classico, or the tortas de queso or frijole. For pastries, the guava empanada is solid.
