Yet another beautiful beach park. 13 miles /20 minutes north of us. Not a beach park for swimming, the ocean is pretty rough here. But it has a large grassy area, pine trees, palm trees, plenty of places to park right next to the water and have a picnic, watch the wild surf as it hits the lava rocks.

A great scenic stop with an amazing history. Stop for a few minutes on your way to Hilo.

Nice place to chill, bbq, soak in the blue Pacific Ocean or just meditate/read a book. Please be respectful of the local area and keep it clean😁

Beautiful beach park with access to the ocean. Be aware of fire ants if you sit on picnic tables or the ground
