Baron Palace- a landmark of mysterious reflections and architectural elements that stirs the most dormant of imaginations. It continues to be a rare reminder of a significant era of grandiose proportions, leisurely celebrations, exotic decorations and grand balls of royal presence. The Palace of Baron Empain was constructed by the French architect Alexander Marcel. The eclectic forms evoke Hindu palace architecture, and can be seen in the context of an early 20th century Cairene revival of various historical styles.
