Over twenty five years, up to 1000 workers each year laboured in extremely difficult conditions to build the magnificent granite harbour. The East Pier is one mile long and the West Pier even longer.

Dún Laoghaire is a lovely spot for a walk along the Harbour. Go to Peoples Park on Sunday for a market. Get a Teddys ice cream, they’re famous here. Lots of nice spots for lunch or dinner too!

Amazing village of Dun Laoghaire - easy to reach by train. Nice for walk on the harbour, beautiful scenes around it plus famous 40 foot sea bathing spot nearby! Some nice bars and restaurants in the area too.
