I strongly recommend setting a day apart for a boat ride. Boats can be for your own group, and you can drive them yourself or have a captain do it for you. I recommend having lunch at an island where you can leave the boat while you eat, and you can ask (for an additional cost I believe) for paddle boards and stuff like that! The views are stunning and you can stop @ Haulover Sandbar, in the middle of the Boat Area.

At the Haulover Sandbar boaters come by the droves … hundreds on a weekend. There is no shortage of music and groups of folks having fun frolicking in the clear water. The sandbar has a sand shoal that surfaces during low tide. The sand rises up out of the water exposing beautiful clean sand for all to enjoy … as if it were your own island oasis right in the middle of the ocean water. Truth-be-told, the sandbar is not in the ocean, but in the bay; in shallow water by the ocean inlet named Bakers Haulover Inlet.
