The Valley is also home to various cuisines such as; Vietnamese, Thai and Indian as well as other ethnic dining experiences. Water sports are also easy to experience in the valley and on the ocean. Kayak rentals are available at Cowichan Bay, as well as whale watching. Somenos Marsh offers an abundance of birdlife for the enthusiast and is within easy walking distance of the "suite". Duncan boasts a olympic sized pool at the community centre and top quality entertainment at the Island Savings theatre. Make sure downtown Duncan is on your list of places to visit.
