The Giant Dipper is a must-ride, and if you don't want to pay for rides, you can just walk around and take in the scenery for free. During the summertime there are concerts and movies on the beach too!

Around 30 miles from San Jose. The traffic can be heavy during the weekend afternoons. Check google maps and starting before 1 PM and Starting the return drive after 7.30 PM will help to skip the peak traffic.
Great for couples or a family if you're looking for a bit more excitement and noise. The restaurants on the boardwalk are very good and there's a wine bar at the end we really enjoy.
