A counter-only restaurant in Komazawa specializing in nikomi—beef tendon stew—that keeps things simple. It’s not somewhere to come and eat leisurely, but it’s quick and delicious. They’ll put a bowl of stew in front of you as soon as you sit down, and then you can order extra rice and pickles as you please. Once you’ve finished half of both your bowls of stew and rice, pour the remainder of the stew over the rice and eat the rest that way—delicious!
