We've never actually been here, but a colleague has and highly recommended. It's only a mile or so from the cottage, so worth checking out (and let us know!)

We highly recommend visiting The Bird in Hand. Its great for families and the food and ale is great too.

Excellent venue to eat local. Few minutes walk from Hide Hut or short drive. Best to book in advance.
