Barcelona and Gaudí go hand in hand. This elegant chocolatier is located in Casa Calvet, a building designed by Gaudí in 1900. They offer a wide selection of gourmet chocolate, both to take home and to eat there, which I suggest doing, if only to see the gorgeous blue tile and spiral-pattern design in the lobby. And the prices are good! When you order coffee, they always add a little chocolate. It’s best enjoyed with one of their wonderful croissants.

Very good offer of chocolates and coffee shop on the ground floor of a Gaudí building: Casa Calvet. Drinking coffee, croissants and chocolate cups are second to none.
