Great authentic Sichuan hole in-the-wall restaurant near Sproul Plaza at UC Berkeley. Our favorites include toothpick (cumin) lamb, tofu pudding, tan tan noodles, pea sprouts, and dumpling soup. They have an extensive selection of vegetarian dishes. Service is friendly, efficient, and always very quick. Don't ask for changes to menu items though. They are not set up for that. Menu prices look to be standard but when you receive the extra-large portions, you realize how budget friendly this place is. No ambience whatsoever, but you will be comfortable.
